ABOUT ME

About

Education

I am a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and an emphasis in Digital Marketing. I also earned minors in Communication Studies and Design & Media, and certificates in New Media and Workforce Diversity.

I chose to study marketing because I enjoy its versatility and ambiguity. Marketing is in almost every facet of our lives and has the power to make a real difference in the world. Although I am not completely sure of what I want to accomplish in my career, it's that equivocacy that is going to allow me to adapt and adjust to whatever comes my way. In the end, I know I just want to do something meaningful.

I am a very dynamic person. I enjoy change and being challenged. Pivots are something I am no stranger to and welcome wholeheartedly. By pursuing minors and certificates in such varying areas, I like to think that I am setting myself up with options for a successful and impactful future, and preparation for all the bumps along the way that goes along with that.

Values

Open-mindedness. I have always been a very open person. I enjoy broadening my perspective in any way I can. I love adventure and am always game to exploring uncharted territories. Life has been known to throw me a few curveballs but being adaptable and open to change is how I have managed to overcome those obstacles.

Independence. I was raised to understand the importance of being independent. At the end of the day, all you have is yourself. You have to be assured in your value and your worth before you can truly be the best that you can be. Being confident in yourself is easier said than done, but self actualization is something I actively work towards every day.

Connection. With that said, I strongly value my relationships. As an extrovert, I seek to create and manage genuine connections. From my family to my friends to my networks, I believe that by investing in your relationships with others, you are investing in yourself. Treat others with unconditional kindness and respect, and the same energy will find its way back to you.

Interests

Growing up, film always found a way to captivate me. Being immersed in other perspectives enabled me to empathize with others and expanded my knowledge of the human experience. Sometimes we get so caught up in the chaos of our own lives that we forget that the world is so much bigger than ourselves.

There are not enough hours in the day for me to listen to music. Similar to film, music acts as an escape for me and grounds me to my core. Sometimes, all we need is to spend half an hour tuning out the noise of life so that we can really appreciate life. Here are some of my favorite tracks.

With a restless soul and desire to see everything the world has to offer, traveling has always been a passion of mine. My favorite part about traveling is the people you meet along the way. I view our individual lives as different paths, and traveling allows me to cross paths with new cultures and perspectives from all over the world.
