What do you want to know?

I am currently a second-year Marketing major at the University of Georgia with an emphasis in Digital Marketing. I am also pursuing minors in Communication Studies and Design & Media, and certificates in New Media and Workforce Diversity. After my undergraduate degree, I hope to be admitted into the Masters of Marketing Research program in the Terry College of Business.

I am studying marketing because I enjoy it's flexibility. Marketing is quite literally in every facet of our lives, so hopefully it won't be too difficult for me to find a job after graducation. That is partly why I am pursuing minors and certificates in such varying areas. I'm not completely sure what I want to do with the rest of my life yet, but I like to think that I am setting myself up with options.

I like to think that I am grounded in my values, so let's discuss some of them.

Independence. I was raised to be independent. Being the first born of immigrants, there was always a lot of responsibilities placed on my shoulders. Expectations for me were set high, and I always wanted to go above and beyond.

With that said, I strongly value my relationships. From my family to my friends to my networks, I believe that you should invest in your relationships with others because in the end, you are investing in yourself. They are your support system, and your network is essentially your net worth.

Growing up, film always found a way to capivate me. Maybe it was the pretty colors, or the powerful stories, or just that I had nothing else better to do; I would not be who I am today if it wasn’t for cinema.

There is not enough hours in the day to listen to music. The ironic thing is that I didn't really discover music until high school. Now, I spent most of my free time listening to different tunes depending on my moon. Here are some of my favorite tunes.

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. My favorite part about traveling is the people you meet. It is always so interesting hearing other people’s stories, and traveling allows you to meet the most fascinating, real people. My goal is to travel to all of the 7 continents one day.

Here are things that I have done.

NMIX 4110

In this course, I learned how to use HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It is where I learned how to make this website. The link above has a list of all the assignments we did for the class, including the first iteration of this website.

Here is a collection of different Prezi's I have made throughout my educational career. Prezi's provide for a more captivating way to share presentations. Go slow, though, you might get motion sickness.

Personal Instagram

Until I get more concrete expereince, here is my personal Instagram account, which I have used to cultivate a brand for myself. I enjoy taking and editing photos to capture different moments of my life.

Workforce Diversity Final Project

In this certificate program, I learned about diversity in the workplace, which is a topic that is important to me. For the final project, I worked with a group to outline a diversity initiative program.

VIET 1001 Project

Here is an example of my work in PowerPoint. This was the final project for my Introductory to Vietnamese class. I did the majority of the formatting and design aspects in this presentation.

Personal Blog

Again, until I get more experience, here is a link to my blog. There, you will find examples of my written work.
